Today in Class we talked about curation and why it is important as a teacher specifically for organizing resources for your practicum Personally I have all of mine in a google drive with different files but I still need to add to more. I also need to work on becoming more organized with files I used to sort each colour with a specific category like grey for work stuff but then I got bored of it and my computer is chaos now.

Some of my take aways from today are

-Digital is useful because it is easier to sort and search for it. 

-Consider where file is, can you search, can you edit it

-Do you have a citation if it is someone else’s work?

-Good to back up files.

We also did an EdCamp in class today. Where we chose topics to talk about voted on our favourites then discussed them. I could see myself doing an Edcamp as a middle school or high school teacherMy group focused on AI, I wanted to hear more groups thoughts but no one was switching groups and I did not one of the first people to do that. We discussed the importance of AI in the classroom. I used to use AI often for editing emails but I hate it now because of the environmental impacts there has been a jarring shift this year with how many professors hold AI in a positive regard
