This activity is something I imagine doing with primary students near the start of the year so they can start thinking about what colours work well together. They would get to choose either cool tones (blue, green, etc or warm tones like red and orange and create an abstract painting with them. This would just be a fun little intro activity and then I might get them to do something a little more complicated later on like mixing colours or complimentary colours. I think this activity would be goof for a K Class because there is lot’s of room for creativity and it is a pretty simple project. What tones would you choose (lmk in the replies 🙂
